Coffee Sustainability Program participants come from various backgrounds in the coffee industry and tend to be full-time professionals who wish to 1.) incorporate more sustainability principles or projects into their work, and/or 2.) transition into a more sustainability-focused job role in the coffee industry.
 
In this course, learners will examine the shifting landscape of sustainability
requirements and legislation, how decision-making occurs and the role of power in various systems, and guidance for reporting on an organization’s sustainability work.
 
During this course, students will learn:
1. DUE DILIGENCE AND COMPLIANCE
2. GOVERNANCE
3. SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING
 
In order to obtain the Foundation certificate, students must pass the online written test offered by SCA with at least 70% score.
